Georgia Institute of Technology President G.P. “Bud” Peterson will retire as president this summer, a position he’s served in since 2009.
For the past decade, Bud and Val Peterson have supported the Georgia Tech community, provided bold leadership during challenging times, and embodied Tech's values in everything they do — ensuring that the Peterson presidency has made an indelible impact on the life of the Institute.
