Provost Appoints New Chair of Library Faculty Advisory Board

Aerospace Engineering Associate Professor Karen Feigh will head the 20-member panel

Provost Rafael L. Bras has appointed Karen Feigh, associate professor in the School of Aerospace Engineering, chair of the Library Faculty Advisory Board (LFAB). Feigh will assume the role from Andrew Zangwill, professor in the School of Physics.

“As chair, Associate Professor Feigh will strengthen the relationships among the board, the library and Tech faculty on issues such as the Library Renewal and Emory collaboration," said Catherine Murray-Rust, vice provost for learning excellence and dean and director of libraries.

The 20-member LFAB was created in 2007 to encourage communication among Institute faculty members and the Library.

"I am excited to assume the duties of chair of the Library Faculty Advisory Board,” Feigh said. “The library is about to undergo a significant transformation, and this is an important time for the board to help with the transformation process and to serve as a liaison to the wider faculty around Tech."
