The Staff Council gives Georgia Tech’s 3,700 staff members a formal means to communicate with the Institute’s executive leadership. The Council comprises 20 members who proportionally represent five classifications of employees as specified by Tech’s Job Classification and Compensation System (JCCS). Staff Council is now accepting nominations for new members and for committee membership.

During this election cycle, the following seats are available: Administrative and Professional (2 seats); Skilled Trades (3 seats); Scientific and Research (1 seat); Information Technology (1 seat); and Development (1 seat). Elected Council members serve three-year terms.

Full- and part-time staff members may participate. The deadline for nominations and committee applications is Friday, Oct. 11.
