Midterm elections are coming up in a month, and Georgia’s voter registration deadline is Tuesday, Oct. 9. The Student Government Association (SGA) is helping the Georgia Tech community be prepared to vote in November.

SGA will host a voter registration drive, Wreck the Vote, from Oct. 1-5 on Tech Walk. They’ll even offer free chicken nuggets and cookies to encourage people to stop by and register. You can talk to SGA representatives between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The Technique also did its part in its Sept. 21 issue, running a full-page voter registration form that can be completed and submitted in person or postmarked by Oct. 8.

Elections in Georgia are Tuesday, Nov. 6, and include governor, lieutenant governor, congressional representatives, and several other positions.
