Graduate Students Sought for Leadership Positions

For graduate students who want to get involved in campus initiatives, the Graduate Student Government Association is now accepting applications for its executive cabinet for next year.

For graduate students who want to get involved in campus initiatives, the Graduate Student Government Association is now accepting applications for its executive cabinet for next year.

Andrew Cox, a graduate student in aerospace engineering, and Renee Shelby, a graduate student in history and sociology of technology and science, were elected president and executive vice president for next year and are looking for students to work with them in a variety of positions, including:

  • Chief of staff/internal affairs
  • Chair of the Senate
  • Vice president of academic and research affairs
  • Vice president of graduate conference funds
  • Vice president of student life
  • Vice president of graduate communications
  • Vice president of graduate events
  • Vice president of government affairs
  • Joint vice president of finance
  • Joint vice president of campus organizations
  • Joint vice president of information technology
