MOR Leadership Training Builds Leadership Skills in OIT

Several staff members in the Office of Information Technology (OIT) have embarked upon an eight-month leadership program designed especially for university professionals to help build their competencies for leading in the 21st century.

Several staff members in the Office of Information Technology (OIT) have embarked upon an eight-month leadership program designed especially for university professionals to help build their competencies for leading in the 21st century. The program entitled MOR IT Leaders Program, offered by MOR Associates, is made up of a network of university IT professionals across the nation.

“The program is really designed to challenge us and strengthen our leadership skills as a team,” says Kim White, project manager principal for OIT. “We have homework assignments, goal setting sessions, networking opportunities, and one-to-one meetings with our mentor.”
