The National Pan-Hellenic Council 11th Annual Homecoming Stepshow

The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) at Georgia Tech hosted its 11th Annual Homecoming Stepshow.

The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) at Georgia Tech hosted its 11th Annual Homecoming Stepshow on Thursday, Oct. 11, at 7 p.m. This year, the show was hosted at Georgia State University’s Rialto Theater.

The Annual Homecoming Stepshow is a special tradition for NPHCs across the country, and specifically at Georgia Tech. This treasured tradition allows for friendly competition between the organizations within the council. It offers an opportunity for undergraduates to reconnect with alumni members, and a chance to provide programming that highlights the African-American student experience. It is also a chance for members in these organizations to celebrate and share traditions of African-influenced heritage, African-American culture, stepping, strolling, chanting, and performance with Greek and non-Greek students alike. 

The show was be filled with great performances from beginning to end as teams competed for the first place title.

This year the winners were:

Sorority Category

  • 1st Place: Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
  • 2nd Place: Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
  • 3rd Place: Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.

Fraternity Category

  • 1st Place: Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
  • 2nd Place: Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
  • 3rd Place: Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

NPHC is currently composed of nine sorority and fraterniy chapters, including Alpha Phi Alpha, Fraternity, Inc.; Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.; Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity, Inc.; Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.; Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.; Phi Beta Sigma, Fraternity, Inc.; Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.; Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.; and Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. NPHC promotes interaction through forums, meetings, and other mediums for the exchange of information and engages in cooperative programming and initiatives through various activities and functions.
