Rishab Jain, a first-year student studying materials science and engineering at Georgia Tech is competing in the 2018 edition of the Jeopardy! College Championship, which begins airing Monday, April 9. Jain was one of just 15 college students from across the country selected to hold a buzzer for this special collegiate version of America's longest-running quiz show.

Jain is one of just three freshman competing. The winner receives $100,000 and a guaranteed spot in Jeopardy's Tournament of Champions.

In 2013, Georgia Tech student Kristen Jolley finished third on College Jeopardy.
