City Boil Water Advisory Affects Parts of Tech Campus

The City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management has issued a boil water advisory for a section of south Atlanta. 

UPDATE at 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 7: The boil water advisory has been lifted for campus

The City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management has issued a boil water advisory for a section of south Atlanta. The advisory area includes several buildings within the Georgia Tech campus.

Until the advisory is lifted, occupants of the following buildings are urged to boil water for one minute past a rolling boil before using or consuming it:

  • Harrison
  • Harris
  • Howell
  • Brown
  • Smith
  • North Avenue Apartments North, East, South, West

Campus:

  • Bobby Dodd Stadium
  • Edge

  • Carnegie
  • Tech Tower
  • Swann
  • Savant
  • Lyman Hall
  • French
  • Chapin
