Monday, March 13

If you’re a basketball fanatic, sign up to compete in the Tech Rec March Madness Bracket Contest. Share your bracket here by March 13 at 11:59 p.m. The official group name is “Tech Rec March Madness.” Winning brackets will receive prizes.

Tuesday, March 14

Students are invited to cheer on the Yellow Jackets in the NIT at home at McCamish Pavilion. Coach Josh Pastner is letting Tech students in for free, and T-shirts will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis.

Looking for an on-campus job for next semester? The Student Center will host a series of info sessions this week about job openings, with the first one taking place Tuesday. The Campus Recreation Center is also currently recruiting new staff members.

Wednesday, March 15

Withdrawal Deadline at 4 p.m.

Come out a screening of the film Neukölln Unlimited, followed by a panel discussion with filmmaker Agostino Imondi. The film explores the lives of three Lebanese refugees and hip hop artists in Berlin struggling to evade deportation and establish permanent residency in Germany.

The screening is part the School of Modern Languages initiative to focus on international media productions that explore issues and challenges associated to sustainability. View future events here.

Thursday, March 16

The Student Center Programs Council will host a private screening of the latest live action Disney film, Beauty and the Beast. Tickets will be sold for $10 in the Student Center from Monday, March 13, through Wednesday, March 15. Tickets can be purchased with cash or BuzzCard. The ticket includes a free shuttle to and from Atlantic Station.

Friday, March 17

If you’re still on campus, kick off Spring Break at Russ Chandler Stadium. Georgia Tech Baseball will take on the University of North Carolina at home.
