Monday, Feb. 13

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, have you been wondering how to show your appreciation and admiration for those you love? Luckily, the Student Center Programs Council has you covered. Spend an evening making crafts for friends, loved ones, and the kids at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. This event is free and open to all Tech students. Treats will be provided.

Tuesday, Feb. 14

This Valentine’s Day, make time to take care of yourself. Head to the Student Center for a workshop featuring guided mediation, crafting, and (perhaps most importantly) chocolate. Learn tips on self-care and the art of loving you. Relax with the Georgia Tech Meditation Club, dive within, and just be.

Wednesday, Feb. 15

  • What: STEM Women’s Coffee Talk   
  • When: 3 – 4 p.m.
  • Where: Clough Lounge

Join the Women’s Resource Center and Women in Engineering for their monthly series for women majoring in areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This series gives women the chance to informally gather and discuss various technical and personal topics. Coffee, tea, and dessert will be provided.

Thursday, Feb. 16

The Student Center Programs Council, with support from the Student Government Association, the Parents Fund, and Campus Services, presents Georgia Tech Night at the Aquarium. The Georgia Aquarium will be open exclusively for Georgia Tech students, faculty, staff, and guests. Tickets are $12 for students and will be sold until Feb. 13. Purchase tickets here.

Friday, Feb. 17

Come out for a night of swing dancing with music from the Harlequin Jazz Band. There will be a beginner lesson from 8 – 9 p.m. followed by open dancing. Cost is $5 for students.

Friday is also the season opening day for Georgia Tech Baseball. Cheer on the Jackets at Russ Chandler Stadium. Check out the game times below.

  • Friday, 4 p.m. - Georgia Tech vs. BYU
  • Saturday, 2 p.m. - Georgia Tech vs Marshall
  • Sunday, noon - Georgia Tech vs. Western Michigan

Saturday, Feb. 18

Watch Georgia Tech take on Chattanooga at 11 a.m. Cheer on the Jackets and enjoy an afternoon of tennis. Admission is free for students with valid BuzzCard.

Sunday, Feb. 19

Grab your white Georgia Tech gear and head out to McCamish to watch the Yellow Jackets take on the Syracuse Orange in a white-out game. Admission is free, but only for the first 900 students. Make sure to bring your BuzzCard and arrive early.
