Georgia Tech Closing Early Due to Winter Weather Concerns

Following a state of emergency issued by Georgia's Governor, Georgia Tech is closing early ahead of a winter weather threat.

Due to winter weather concerns, Georgia Tech's main campus in Atlanta will be closing Friday, Jan. 22, at noon. The decision comes following a state of emergency issued by Governor Nathan Deal that will close state offices tomorrow at noon as well. Staff and students are encouraged to work with supervisors and/or instructors on any issues that arise from the suspension of normal campus operations. The Georgia Tech Office of Emergency Preparedness will continue monitoring conditions.
