What Brings You Joy?

Office of the Arts asks students to share their joy.

The Office of the Arts is celebrating the many faces of Georgia Tech’s campus with its new GT Joy campaign.

The project is designed to let Georgia Tech bear witness to and celebrate the many faces of its students and highlight the creativity, individuality, and humanity of its community by asking students one question: “What brings you joy?”

Similar to the widely known Humans of New York and Humans of Georgia Tech campaigns, the GT Joy campaign hopes not only to celebrate the faces of Georgia Tech, but also to celebrate joy by looking at what brings students joy and how they navigate tough challenges.

The Office of the Arts is working with Atlanta-based photographer Alli Royce Soble for the next month photograph students on campus. Look for her in the Student Center, follow along on Instagram, and participate on social media using the hashtag #GTjoy2015.

Photos from the project will eventually be collected and shared in an on-campus installation during Dead Week. In the meantime, the campus community can follow the project at instagram.com/artsattech
